Description Rare RHD DKW Registered new in the UK 1965 Will come with fresh MOT From a private collection HPi clear Produced from 1963 to 1966, the F102 was initially launched as a two door saloon, with the four door hitting the market in1965.

Equipped with a (then) state-of-the-art three-cylinder two stroke engine.

The two-stroke mixture was generated by the new "fresh oil system" developed jointly with Bosch, which automatically mixed the lubricant with the gasoline from a separate oil tank in the engine compartment, reducing oil consumption.

Production of the F102 came to a halt in 1966 after a run of 52,753 cars.

History Our vendor purchased this F102 on 7th December 2014 on a whim as his father had responsibility for the sale of DKWs in the UK, when it was under the ownership of Mercedes-Benz.

As a lad he remembers being taken to school in DKWs.
