The Austin A90 Six Westminster was introduced in 1954, a large family saloon with the B.M.C.
C-series straight six engine of 2639cc.
Independent coil sprung suspension with wishbones was fitted to the front with a live rear axle with leaf springs and an anti-roll bar.
The A95 followed in 1956 and the A105 Westminster with increased power, an automatic gearbox option or an overdrive for the manual gearbox.
The first of the Pininfarina designed cars appeared in 1959.
The engine grew to 2912cc with twin S.U.
carburettors and the final upgrade was produced in 1961 as the A110 Westminster.
This version had the extended wheelbase, giving more space for the rear seat passengers, 13inch wheels and the C-series engine now produced 120hp.
