From 1971, Lancia produced their ‘2000’ models, offered as a saloon or coupe.

Inheriting much of its design from the Flavia, the 2000 Saloon was equipped with a (flat) four cylinder 1991cc engine, front-wheel drive, disc brakes and independent suspension; the most notable differences from its predecessor were subtle updates to the design of the model’s front and rear.

Pitched at the higher-end of the market, the 2000 boasted a range of quality finishes, and was widely considered to be Lancia’s last great motor car.

By the end of production in 1974, a little over 14300 units were manufactured; as a result, these are a very rare motor car on UK roads today.

With just five owners from new, and with documented ownership from 1986, this ‘2000 Berlina’ is in solid, usable condition.

After being in dry storage from 2011 until 2015, the Lancia 2000 was recommissioned in May of last year by a respected marque enthusiast, who has covered some 800 miles in the motor car since.
