Acquired in 2018 as a very original road car, chassis 861041 (original RHD 1962 car) was fully restored and race-prepared by Valley Motorsport to pre-63 specification.
The build was completed in time for the 2019 Spa 6 Hours, where it debuted competitively in the MRL Jaguar Challenge, finishing P2 in the Pre-63 class.
Subsequently the car underwent a further 18-month upgrade program at the current owner s workshops, focused on weight reduction and enhancement of both engine and handling.
Today the car is very much a front-runner in the ultimate pre-63 specification, still retaining its road registration and ideal for both racing and road rallies/tours.
Current HTP until 2029.
