The 430 GTC was Ferrari s factory weapon for International GT2 racing, and used considerable research from the Ferrari Formula 1 division.

As with all factory Ferrari GT race cars of the era, the 430 GTC was built in collaboration with Michelotto.

Only 24 of these cars were ever built, making it one of the rarest modern factory Ferrari race cars.The cars went on to dominate endurance GT racing around the world in the FIA GT championship and American Le Mans Series.

The model won the GT2 Manufacturer s Cup and Driver s Titles in 2006, 2007 and 2008, the ALMS GT2 Manufacturers title in 2007, the GT2 class at Le Mans in 2008 and 2009 as well as GT2 wins at the 2008 and 2009 Petit Le Mans and the 2007, 2009 and 2010 Sebring 12 Hours.
