Morgan’s first  three-wheeler came to the market in 1909, with a tubular steel frame, low centre of gravity and 'sliding pillar' independent front suspension.

The platform remained for a number of years but welcomed a variety of engines from JAP, Matchless, Blackburne, Anzani and Ford.

Morgan three-wheelers were employed by drivers such as Clive Lones, Harold Beart and Gwenda Stewart (who recorded 115.66mph at Montlhéry in 1930). 

By 1933 Morgan's three-wheeler chassis could be ordered with four types of body; Super Sports, Sports Two-Seater, Sports Family and Family.
