Introduced at the 1955 Geneva Motor Show, the Fiat 600 (Seicento) was one of the most significant small cars of the post-war era.
Penned by Dante Giacosa, it brought modern engineering and genuine four-seat practicality to the compact car class, helping to motorise a generation across Italy.
Powered by a rear-mounted, water-cooled four-cylinder engine with four-speed manual transmission, the 600 combined economy, reliability and usability in an incomparably compact and characterful package.
Its success was huge, with production running into the millions and assembly extending under licence across multiple markets.
