Franco Sbarro founded the car company that bears his name in 1971 and has been notorious in his development of concept and unique cars.
Over the years, he has produced a great number of fantastic cars, alternating between “evocations” and cars with original design.
The SB2 Tornado belongs to this latter category.
The original idea dates back to 2004, when Sbarro imagined and re-carossed a Ferrari 456GT that he christened SB1.
The following year, the concept evolved into the SB2 “Tornado”.
The Tornado name comes from a watch manufacturer who used the SB2 to illustrate their advertising campaigns.
Compared to the SB1, the front has been slightly overhauled, especially at the headlights.
The two-tone body has become definitively and completely red and the interior has lost its white colour in favour of a more classic beige leather.
This car is an authentic Ferrari powered by a 485bhp Ferrari V12 engine and based on a 456 GT.
