The car we are proud to be offering for sale is one of the most successful Jaguar E-type historic competition racing cars of the modern era.

Prepared and developed in its current ownership by the late and highly regarded Roger Dowson Engineering at Silverstone Circuit.

5 WPD is a Goodwood TT/ Tour Auto competitor with numerous other international historic events to its credit, and is a lap record holder at Silverstone.

Chassis 860392 was built to works semi-lightweight specification by race car preparation experts John Beck Cars some twenty-five years ago using a combination of original and post-production lightweight parts.

Original parts include the front suspension, torsion bars, front anti roll bar, header tank and radiator, exhaust manifolds and complete rear suspension cage that were sourced from the lightweight E-Type racer 503 BBO which competed at Le Mans in 1962, driven by John Coundley and Maurice Charles.
