The Daimler name goes right back to the dawn of motoring and has a multitude of fascinating associations, including having been supplied to more royal and imperial families than virtually any other Marque including those of Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Japan, Spain and Greece.

By the 1930s Daimler were building a multitude of models of various sizes, but one of their most successful was the Twenty Horsepower, a middle sized Six cylinder which was aimed squarely at the prosperous and discerning motorist.

This automobile originally registered in Northampton on the eighth of May 1936, carries well proportioned six-light coachwork by the celebrated coachbuilders Windovers.

The finish is a lovely and highly appropriate period styled two-tone of Black over Maroon, with exquisitely kept black leather in the front compartment and Dover Grey fabric in the rear.
