Though we are used to thinking of Cadillac as builders of mighty luxury cars in the interwar period and more recently but, they began with a solid foundation building veterans and Edwardians of unusually high engineering quality.

Though the majority of Veterans and early Edwardians have a sort of ‘spidery’ look to them, these early Cadillacs demonstrate the engineering integrity which ensured their success at the time.

The Model B was only in production for over a year and its sturdy single cylinder engine was inherited from its predecessors, but the wheelbase was slightly increased to give more space and greater stability.

US registered in 1904, today’s two seater example is finished in Burgundy and is in very pleasing condition cosmetically.

The car is equipped with artillery wheels and an impressive pair of brass headlamps and a single rear lamp.
