KEY FACTS This Aston Martin V8 Vantage is an exceptionally rare factory development car, which was rebuilt to ‘X-Pack’ specification as a precursor to the production variant.

Originally delivered as a demonstrator car for main dealer Stratton in Norfolk, it was later sold back to Aston Martin and redesignated internally as ‘DP2035’.

Over the course of its time back at the factory, it was upgraded to V580X guise (better known as ‘X-Pack’).

The car was later upgraded to 1988 specification, including revised air conditioning, and the original automatic gearbox was swapped for the ZF manual.

It is powered by a 5.3-litre V8, now delivering around 403bhp to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission.

This V8 Vantage X-Pack has been with the seller for the last eight years.

The odometer shows 74,740 miles, which is supported by the extensive history file.
