KEY FACTS This 1982 Lotus Esprit Turbo is a revered 1980s sports car, and one of just 143 ‘dry sump’ cars built between 1980 and 1983.
It is powered by a 2.2-litre turbocharged inline-four engine producing around 210hp, which is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
The car has benefitted from a 200-hour €21,000 refresh at the beginning of 2023 courtesy of Grips Garage in Finland, which involved the fitment of many parts from Lotus specialist PNM-Parts including new suspension, bushings, overhauled callipers, brake pipes and hoses, cooling and oil hoses, timing belt, auxiliary belt, gearbox shifter bushings, as well as an overhaul of the electrics and electric fans.
The odometer shows just 25,100 miles.
