KEY FACTS This Ultima RSE is an entirely unique one-off factory prototype all-electric performance car.

It is powered by a modified 680bhp Tesla ‘Performance Drive Unit’ electric motor, driving the rear wheels via a single-speed transmission, Quaife ATB differential and drawing its energy from a bespoke ultra lightweight 24kWh battery.

The RSE rockets from 0-60mph in just 2.1 seconds, 0-100mph in 4.6 seconds, and comes to a dead stop from 100mph in a remarkable 3.1 seconds.

It has just passed the UK Individual Vehicle Approval Test as well as the R100.1 compliance test for high voltage systems at the Motor Industry Research Association.
