KEY FACTS This 1994 Land Rover Defender 110 is a modified example of the beloved British 4x4, which was rebuilt by The Tales of Land Rover and named ‘Maverick at a cost of approximately $220,000.

Under the bonnet is a replacement 2.5-litre 300TDi inline-four, which delivers its power to all four wheels through a new five-speed manual R380 transmission and a reconditioned transfer box.

The replacement digital odometer shows 2,815 km, though the car’s total mileage is unknown.
