KEY FACTS This numbers-matching Porsche 911 L 2.0 is a striking example of the iconic classic air-cooled sports car, which has been transformed into a tribute to the lightweight 911 R.

Under the rear engine lid sits its original naturally aspirated 2.0-litre air-cooled flat-six, which sends its power to the rear wheels via a five-speed ‘dog-leg’ manual transmission.

This example is understood to have originally been a US-delivered model, which started life as a 911 L before it was reportedly transformed into a lightweight 911 R tribute by the movie star Enrique Murciano with the help and advice of Rob Dickinson, before the latter started Singer Vehicle Design.

It is now located in Belgium, and is reported to have had three private owners from new.

The odometer indicates 16,055 Kms, though this is not warranted.
