KEY FACTS This E36-generation BMW M3 GT is a rare limited-edition modern classic performance car, which was produced to homologate the model for the FIA GT and IMSA GT Series.

Under the bonnet sits a naturally aspirated 3.0-litre ‘S50B30’ straight-six featuring six individual throttle bodies and BMW’s then newly developed ‘VANOS’ technology, delivering around 299PS to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.

First registered in Germany, the car was imported to France in October 2003.

This E36-era M3 GT is number 218 of only 356 examples built.
