KEY FACTS This Mazda RX-7 Series 6 is a sought-after and exciting modern classic Japanese sports car, offered from long-term father and son UK ownership.
Under the bonnet sits a single-turbocharged 1.3-litre 13B Wankel rotary engine, now delivering up to 357bhp (on high boost setting) to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission with uprated clutch.
It was driven on track in the UK once at Mallory Park in 2021, and otherwise used on the road in dry summer conditions only.
Imported as an already track prepared car from Japan, the car came with Tsukuba circuit print outs with a fastest lap time of 1.01.790.
The car was imported from Hokkaido in 2009, and underwent a comprehensive cosmetic and mechanical restoration in 2011 by Rotary specialist, W.G.T.
