KEY FACTS Built by Darkside Developments as a test car, this Skoda CitiGo is a highly modified track-focussed example of the diminutive hatchback, fitted with a tuned 2.0-litre diesel inline-four, and a 4-Motion all-wheel drive system.

Under the bonnet now sits a tuned turbocharged 2.0-litre ‘CFHD’ diesel inline-four, now producing around 276hp and sending it to all four wheels via a GUC six-speed gearbox with an FZL bellhousing and transfer case.

Modification highlights include a ported head, race camshafts, an alloy radiator, a foam-filled fuel tank, a Quaife limited-slip differential, a Quaife Haldex rear limited-slip differential, an FIA-spec roll cage, Eibach springs, wishbone suspension, Porsche four-pot front brake callipers, Brembo front brake discs, braided brake lines, polycarbonate windows, a ducktail rear spoiler, 17-inch Octavia wheels, and projector headlights.

This Citigo was first registered with the DVLA in May 2012, and has had four former keepers.
