It is powered by an all-alloy naturally aspirated Mercedes-AMG ‘M156’ 6.2-litre V8, producing around 510PS, 40% of which is sent to the front wheels and 60% to the rear, via an AMG speedshift 7G-Tronic automatic transmission.
As a result, the R63 can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.9 seconds and has a limited top speed of 250km/h.
The R63 AMG was launched at the Frankfurt International Motor Show but was never officially listed for sale at dealerships.
