Further to its major program of work in 2005, more recently in 2026 £7000 has been spent on the MG to include work to the cylinder head, new handbrake cable, handbrake levers, wheel cylinders, new gear lever bush, front brake calipers, new Pirelli Cinturato tyres, fuel gauge and cosmetic work to include a new dashboard trim kit, boot carpet, woodrim steering wheel, refurbished wire wheels and a machine polish.

As result the MGC presents very well as a sharp, clean and usable 1960's open top sports car.

The bodywork is of a very good standard, the nicely aged paintwork is of a lovely standard, bright work is impressive and the upholstery is very well presented.On the road the car is impressive, the 2.9 litre straight six engine offers exceptional performance and holds impressive oil pressure, the four speed overdrive gearbox is a delight to use and the car handles very well.
