Finished in Opalescent Grey metallic with Blue trim, this early E-Type was race prepared in 2002 by Colin Percy who had previously owned chassis number 860004, the original ‘CUT 7' and ‘EE400' the Equipe Endeavor Roadster chassis number 850018.
The E-Type was later sold to Peter Lanfranchi and raced by him and his brother, and then Barrie ‘Whizzo' Williams who raced the E-Type all over Europe.
In 2017 the E-Type was in the hands of John Young, raced and competed with by father and son at Goodwood and various other events.
Since 2020, the E-Type has raced the Estoril Circuit in Portugal and was present and out on the track at the 80th GRRC members meeting in April 2023 when it was driven in the Moss Trophy by Craig Davies, finishing an impressive 10th place after starting in 27th.This is certainly a car for high profile events such as Goodwood, the Tour Auto and Le Mans Classics and a comprehensive file of paperwork shows the E-Type has been maintained and prepared regardless of cost...
