Condition

6

While the description highlights desirable features like power steering, recent chassis refurbishment, and engine work, the presence of four previous owners and the need for a chassis refurbishment suggest some wear and tear. Without specific details on the extent of cosmetic imperfections or mechanical issues, a rating of 'Good' seems appropriate.

The involvement of the much-missedTVR legend, Peter Wheeler, started with the production of the V8 Tasmin.

It reflected all things that he believed TVR should stand for: an excess of power over grip, great looks, and noise with no nod to tradition or conservatism! This was first fully epitomised in the TVR Tasmin 400 SE which proved to be a success in both the showroom and on the track.

With a 0-60 in 5.6 seconds, these cars are still quick today and the noise is incredible, especially as this one has a full stainless steel exhaust.

This 400 SE has been with the last of its four owners for 20 yearsand comes with a comprehensive history file containing lots of documentation, including the original handbooks, spare key, and invoices, supporting its mileage of 65,000.

It is fitted with desirable power steering and has recently benefitted from a chassis refurb by David Gerald and engine works including a Piper Camshaft.

The car comes with 10 months MOT.
