1984 Volkswagen Golf Driver 2 Door Coupe converted to GTI, 127000 miles from new, finished in Mars Red with Black and Grey cloth.
Engine was rebuilt 2 years ago by the now retired Jim Payne of Race Power Gravesend, Spec includes Weber Twin 40 S with facet Fuel Pump, Kent high lift cam and pulley, gas flowed ported big valve head, lightened fly wheel, short shift kit and Ashley four branch manifold, since the rebuild it has covered circa 500 miles.
A new clutch was fitted recently.
Prior to this the shell was rotisserie restored by a Mustang specialist in southern England as a side project from the classic Mustangs.
