The Eldorado Seville was the most prestigious two-door coupe Cadillac in the 1957 range.
A development of the Series 62, the Eldorado was based on a tubular cross-frame that allowed the car to sit low and used a 6 litre V8 engine with hydraulic tappets that was common across the whole range, along with the usual four speed automatic transmission.
The cars were face-lifted for 1957 with new grilles, and more pronounced tail fins.
Weighing in at nearly 5,000lbs, the Eldorado coupe was produced in fairly limited numbers, just 2,100 cars being built in 1957, priced at $7,286.
