This beautiful 1965 230 SL is now on sale with Bruce Greetham.

It started life in signal red with a black leather interior and a black soft top.

During its new ownership, which has been for over twenty years, it had decided it was ready for a restoration project.

The metal work and panels were all addressed to the right gaps and dimensions required.

A colour was changed to a Metallic Red and complemented with a new cream leather interior.

One special treat was to fit a new Red mohair Soft Top, not seen very often, if not at all, on this colour combination.

The Engine was stripped and rebuilt at a huge cost, covering all the right parts, seals, camshaft, etc etc.

Tuned by a London Specialist to maintain it drives as good as it looks.

This is a very usable but attractive Dark Red Pagoda that, when shown the key it bursts into life without any hesitation.

Great driving Pagoda, but not the 280 price tag.
