This SL went through a Super Sports program on engine upgrades, with a sports camshaft and a lower-end rebuild of rings and bearings.

The performance was raised to give a more increased sportier drive, combined with a completely new suspension set-up for road handling, with upgraded Roll Bars.

A stainless exhaust system was fitted with a little Jaz to the rear pipes.

The vehicle was lowered and given a more aggressive stance but still retains the class of an R107.
