Hot on the heels of the Gallardo LP560-4 facelift, Lamborghini unveiled the second-generation Superleggera, the LP570-4, in March 2010 as the ultimate expression of the V10-powered Bull.
Updated engine management liberated an additional 10 PS from the Gallardo's 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10, bringing output to 570 PS.
Extensive use of carbon fiber throughout reduced the LP570-4 Superleggera's dry weight to 1,340 kilograms-an impressive 70 kilograms lighter than the standard LP560-4.
The new Superleggera was capable of sprinting from zero to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 325 km/h, making it the quickest-accelerating Gallardo yet.
