Unveiled in October 2015, the F12tdf took its name from the Tour de France Automobile, the grueling multi-day contest of circuit races, hillclimbs, and road stages that Ferrari's 250 GT berlinettas dominated through the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Like those dual-purpose competition cars, the F12tdf was conceived to be equally at home on the road and the circuit, and Ferrari limited production to just 799 examples, offered exclusively to its most established clients.

Derived from the F12berlinetta, it was also the last Ferrari styled in collaboration with Pininfarina.



Its 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 was revised with solid tappets, a larger throttle body, and variable-length intake runners to produce 780 PS at 8,500 rpm, making it the most powerful naturally aspirated V12 in any non-hybrid production car at its introduction.
