The Roadster offered here was among the most sporting of the 1929 Chrysler range-an open two-seater with a rumble seat for two more, full crown fenders, a narrow-profile radiator, and a folding top for weather protection.

Chrysler's factory build sheet on file confirms that chassis number CS630Y was completed on 7 September 1928 as a Sport Roadster, its body built at the company's Kercheval plant and originally finished in Medium Turquoise.

Loaded at the Jefferson plant on 11 September, it was dispatched to Detroit as a drive-away.

The records also list engine no.

263924, confirming that the Roadster presently retains its original engine.

A Michigan certificate of title issued in March 1934 records the Roadster with Eustace Anteau of Newport, Michigan, whose annual registration stamps continue through 1956.

It later spent many years in the Chicago, Illinois area with Jack Gratzianna of Oak Brook, who was restoring it by 1988.
