Derived from the highly desirable 550 Maranello, the 575M Maranello entered the market in late 2002.

The principal difference from its predecessor lays in an overall optimization of performance, most notably through an increase in engine displacement to 5,750 cc, resulting in greater power and torque.

The V12's output increased by 30 CV to 515 CV, with 588 Nm of torque.

The 575M-the "M" standing for Modificata, or modified-also introduced the first F1-style transmission fitted to a road-going Ferrari powered by a V12.



One of just 98 examples believed to have been factory-equipped with the highly desirable HGTC-Handling Gran Turismo Competizione-package, which elevated the 575M Maranello into a significantly more focused and sporting grand tourer, benefiting from carbon-ceramic brakes, revised suspension, a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, 19-inch wheels, a sport exhaust, and faster F1 gear changes.
