The 993-generation 911 Turbo marked Porsche's first use of twin turbochargers on its 3.6-liter flat-six, producing 408 PS for the 1996 model year-an incredible 48 PS more than the outgoing Turbo 3.6.

It was also the first 911 Turbo to feature all-wheel drive.

With its distinctive vented front bumper, wide rear fenders, and body-colored rear spoiler, this Turbo had an unmistakable presence, and, as the final air-cooled generation, a special place in Porsche history.
