Introduced in 1996 as the successor to the mid-engined F512 M, the 550 Maranello was Ferrari's first two-seat, front-engined V12 flagship since the 365 GTB/4 Daytona.

Pininfarina's muscular coupe body concealed a 485-CV, 5.5-liter V12 paired with a rear-mounted six-speed manual transaxle, and just 3,083 examples were built before the 575M assumed its place in 2002.



This handsome Nero Daytona over Cuoio example, chassis number 119828, was sold new through official Ferrari dealer Walter Hasler AG of Frick, Switzerland.
