This 1931 Ford Model A wears 2-Door Phaeton bodywork finished in period-correct Washington Blue over black fenders and running boards, with a tan canvas folding top, brown leather interior, square-weave carpet, folding front bucket seats, rear seats featuring armrests, and a set of straw-colored wire wheels shod in blackwall rubber-a combination that plays to the De Luxe 2- Door Phaeton's low, open lines.

The bright radiator shell, headlamps and cowl lights, dual wind wings, driver's-side Unity Sportlite spotlight, dual side-mounted spares, and rear luggage rack are all correct De Luxe touches, and together they lend this open 2-Door Phaeton a presence well beyond its modest original price of $580.



This car was the subject of a thorough restoration whose quality is demonstrated by a plethora of badges adorning the radiator.

Awarded an AACA National First Prize in 1991, it went on to earn Grand National honors in 1997.
