Constructed in 1963 by Carrozzeria Vignale and designed by Giovanni Michelotti, the Fiat 600 Torpedo Marina represents a highly stylized interpretation of the Italian Spiaggina, or beach car, a class of minimalist, open-air vehicles designed for leisurely coastal use.

Based on the utilitarian Fiat 600 T van chassis, Vignale transformed the platform into an object of refined seaside motoring, blending simplicity with a distinctly nautical character.



Restored under prior ownership and finished in an evocative two-tone blue and white color scheme, the Torpedo Marina captures the visual language of the Mediterranean coast.

Unique among beach cars, its wooden slatted floor closely resembles yacht decking, while its woven wicker seating and chrome maritime-style fittings directly reference classic boat interiors.
