According to its Deluxe Marti Report, this 1969 Shelby GT350 Convertible was ordered in the striking specification it wears today, finished in Black Jade Metallic over Black Clarion Knit/Corinthian Vinyl upholstery and equipped with the 351 cu-in V8, FMX Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission, Hi-Back Bucket Seats, a Black Power Top with a Glass Backlite, and 3.00:1 Traction-Lok rear axle.

The Marti Report further confirms it as one of just two 1969 Shelby GT350 Convertibles produced in this exact specification.



In March 1970, Belgian racing driver and Shelby importer Claude Dubois delivered the car new through his Brussels dealership to Mr.

Armand Pauwels, who would keep it for an extraordinary four decades.

After Pauwels' passing, Dubois remained in contact with his widow and in 2011 introduced the car-by then showing approximately 113,000 kilometers-to Serge Allaert.
