AI Listing Summary
This 1962 Ferrari 250 GTE re-creation is a unique build by a marque specialist, featuring a hand-formed aluminum body over a shortened chassis and a rebuilt Colombo V12 engine. While it has undergone a recent mechanical refresh, its status as a re-creation and unknown chassis mileage suggest it's a solid driver-quality classic rather than a concours contender.
Condition
7
The car is a re-creation, not an original. While it has undergone a significant mechanical refresh and features a hand-formed aluminum body, it is based on a shortened chassis and is identified as a 1962 Ferrari GTE for titling purposes. The chassis mileage is unknown, which detracts from a higher rating. It's described as being in overall solid condition with slight wear visible, requiring minor reconditioning.

The donor car’s 3.0-liter Colombo V12 is said to have been overhauled during the build with higher-compression pistons, larger exhaust valves, and dry-sump lubrication, while Tremec five-speed internals were fitted inside a Ferrari 250 gearbox case.
