This 1965 Ford Mustang is one of 60 similar coupes reportedly built for use at the New York World’s Fair in April 1965, where the sales success of the Mustang was celebrated with the launch of the GT Equipment Group and Décor Interior.
The car was then relocated to the West Coast and sold through Cutter Ford in Hermosa Beach.
It was restored by a previous owner between 2016 and 2017 and has been modified with reproduction 14″ styled-steel wheels, Borgeson power steering, a dual-circuit master cylinder, and Koni dampers, and it is further equipped with a push-button radio, Rally Pac instruments, and a console.
