This 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 was acquired new by the current owner from Evans Pontiac-GMC in Dallas and was fitted with Stage II Performance and High-Performance Suspension Packages by DeLorean Motor Company of Humble, Texas, in January 2014.
The Stage II package equips the 2.85-liter V6 with a new short block, revised camshafts, updated ECU tuning and ignition components, ported and polished cylinder heads, and a stainless-steel exhaust system.
The car features unfinished stainless steel body panels as well as 14″ and 15″ turbine-style aluminum wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, gullwing doors, rear window louvers, and a cassette stereo.
