- engine radiator bottom hose perished & cracked at either end

There were 10 defects noted, with 2 deemed dangerous.

Major:
- Nearside Front Wheel bearing rough when rotated (5.1.3 (b) (i))
- Offside Front Wheel bearing rough when rotated (5.1.3 (b) (i))
- Speedometer clearly inoperative (7.8 (b) (ii))

Fail:
- Hazard warning lamps inoperative both ignition on & off, vehicle's date of first use 1 dec 1981, but ref section 1.4 of the inspection manual, hazard lamp switch fitted therefor testable (1.4.B.1b)
- Windscreen washer provides insufficient washer liquid vehicle presented with windscreen fixed in upright position (8.2.3)


Advisory:
- windscreen wiper blade performance not tested
- Steering box has a slight oil leak (2.2.D.2e)
- Oil leak front & rear diff casings, gearbox & transfer box


Pass after Rectification at Station:
- Nearside Headlamp aim too low adjusted lamp, no further fault found (1.8)
