This 1970 Dodge Challenger T/A coupe is one of approximately 2,400 examples produced to homologate the model for competition in the SCCA’s Trans-Am series, and only 989 of those Dodges were equipped with a four-speed manual transmission like this car.
T/A-specific equipment included a flat-black fiberglass hood with a functional scoop, a rear spoiler, longitudinal black stripes, and a side-outlet dual exhaust system.
Power is supplied by a replacement 340ci V8 that is fitted with triple Holley two-barrel carburetors as well as Hooker exhaust headers and a Lakewood bellhousing.
