1974 Volkswagen Thing
United States • 14 Aug 2026
Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This 1974 Volkswagen Thing in Pumpkin Orange offers a classic off-road experience with desirable accessories like a bull bar, luggage rack, and custom sound system. While recently repainted and appearing well-equipped, potential buyers should note noted mechanical issues including fluid leaks and worn suspension components.
Condition
5
The car was repainted in 2014 and shows 49k miles. However, it has worn suspension bushings, noted oil leaks from the valve covers, leaking axle seals, and dry-rotted CV boots. These mechanical issues, combined with the age of the side curtains, suggest it's in Above Average condition requiring moderate reconditioning.
