This 1973 Volkswagen Beetle was sold new from Bob Dee Volkswagen of Quincy, Illinois, and was optioned with black leatherette upholstery, a Sapphire XVIII AM radio, and a dealer-applied undercoating.

It now rides on a set of JBugs 15″ chrome wheels and Firestone tires, and the 1.6-liter flat-four utilizes an EMPI carburetor, a 009-style distributor, and a revised fuel pump.

The car is also equipped with a four-speed manual transaxle, chrome bumpers, yellow-lens driving lights, pop-out windows, a cabin heater, and front bucket seats.
