This 1950 Mercury Eight coupe was purchased by the seller out of Kentucky in 2007, and a subsequent body-off-frame mechanical overhaul included a rebuild of the 255ci flathead V8 by H&H Flatheads as well as overhauling the three-speed manual transmission and Borg-Warner overdrive unit, and refurbishing the brakes and suspension.
The body is finished in metallic blue and features chrome trim, faux spotlights, peep mirrors, rear fender skirts, and blue-dot taillights.
Modifications include a Navarro intake manifold, a Holley carburetor, Navarro finned cylinder heads, an aluminum radiator, and a 12-volt electrical conversion.
