AI Listing Summary

This custom-built Ford Model T Roadster features a desirable 239ci flathead V8 with Offenhauser heads and hydraulic brakes, built over a decade by the seller's father. Despite the impressive modifications, the car requires attention for its unfinished interior, door latch adjustment, and brake issues, alongside carburetor tuning.

Condition

The car is a custom build with many desirable modifications like the flathead V8, Offenhauser heads, and hydraulic brakes. However, the description notes several issues that require attention, including an improperly adjusted driver's door latch, an intermittently sticking left-rear brake, and carburetors that need tuning. The interior is also described as unfinished with a blanket over the seat and a non-functional tachometer. These issues prevent it from being rated higher than 'Good'.

This Ford Model T Roadster is a build that was undertaken by the seller’s father starting in 2000.

Over the next decade, it was built using an original-style frame that was Z’d and fitted with a ’32 K-member, a reproduction Poli-Form fiberglass body, a Duvall-style windshield, and a ’32 grille.

A 239ci flathead V8 is paired with a three-speed manual, and ’39 16″ wheels, hydraulic drum brakes, an F-1 steering box, and later-style suspension components were used.

The driver is provided a Crestliner wheel and Stewart-Warner gauges, and it is further equipped with Offenhauser finned aluminum heads, an Offenhauser 2-2 intake manifold, and Edelbrock model 94 carburetors.

This Model T is now offered in Las Vegas, Nevada, at no reserve with an Arizona title listing the car as a 1923 Ford.
