This 1970 Porsche 911E coupe was purchased new via Autohaus Hans Kahrmann in Fulda, Germany, by a US Army helicopter pilot, who got his first-ever speeding ticket in the car while on leave in France, and who eventually brought the car back to the US at the conclusion of his deployment.

Engine trouble led to the car being placed into storage for a period of approximately four decades, and it was finally sold circa 2014, but it was reacquired by the original owner following a refurbishment carried out in the interim.
