This 1966 Ford Mustang fastback has been built into a “door slammer” drag car and set up for a big-block Ford.

It has a tube chassis and an NHRA 7.50-certified cage, a Mustang II-style front end, rack-and-pinion steering, adjustable coilovers, Wilwood brakes, and upgraded fuel-system components.

A built 9″ rear end with a 4.33 differential and 31″x14.0-15″ slicks are mounted, and the car also has Cragar-style wheels, a a race seat, a hood with a scoop, and burgundy paintwork.

No engine or transmission is included, and the car will need further sorting and mechanical work to be ready to race.

Acquired by the selling dealer in 2017, this drag car project is now offered at no reserve on a bill of sale in Texas.
