This 1935 Auburn 851 phaeton is said to have spent its life in the Pacific Northwest, where it was purchased in 1979 by a collector who retained it for 25 years until his passing.

The car was then purchased by its current owner, who commissioned a refurbishment that is said to have included a repaint in black with red accents, a re-trim of the interior in red leather, and overhauls of the 280ci Lycoming straight-eight, three-speed manual transmission, and Columbia dual-ratio rear axle.

Additional features include four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, red-painted 16” wire wheels, dual side-mount spares, a Startix automatic starting system, a beige convertible top, and a rotary-dial radio.
