A RUF-built five-speed manual transaxle was installed in 1986, and the car was relocated to Texas in the late 1990s.

It was acquired by the late owner in 2014 and was refurbished between 2015 and 2019, with work including a repaint, a reupholstered brown leather interior, refreshes of the brake and suspension, and a conversion of the air conditioning system to R134a.
