A mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment in 2017 included the installation of an air-cooled 650cc inline-twin and a four-speed manual transmission with synchromesh gearing, overhauling the brake and suspension systems, coating the underside with rust inhibitor, repainting the body red and white, and reupholstering the interior in red vinyl with black cloth inserts and white piping.
